About Tim Maschler

Producer/Publisher Tim Maschler began his career in Hollywood, learning the nuts and bolts of film production working on a television series at Screen Gems Studios. Gravitating toward script writing, over a 20 year period he wrote 50 produced scripts for television shows like Hawaii Five-0, Starsky and Hutch, Magnum P.I., Fantasy Island, and Crazy Like a Fox, as well as TV pilots, Good News and Flight for Life, and the TV movie, Lady from Yesterday. Tim also served as a Story Editor on Hawaii Five-0 and Executive Script Consultant for Columbia Studio’s Crazy Like a Fox, supervising the work of freelance writers.

After is conversion to Jesus Christ, Tim saw that the content in television was going south, so he dusted off his MBA, accepting a position directing an inner-city business development center, where he was responsible for supervising staff, as well as fund raising and marketing its programs. During this time, Tim kept his hand in the movie business, assisting Melissa Riordan in developing feature films like her pro-life script Sign of Jonah, while self-publishing her historical novels and non-fiction works. Working with Riordan Classics’ producing partner John Paul the Great Catholic University, he is now engaged with Melissa in launching her latest feature film, Me and Johnny Cash, which Tim hopes will be shot later in 2025 and released theatrically in early 2026.
